Financial assistance for Thom

Hi, my name is Todd, I am fundraising for a dear person in my life, named Thom. Thom is facing homelessness due to the loss of ability to work this year while in the hospital for injuries and recovery.

Thom has suffered from isolation and depression for years but was always self-sufficient and a wonderful caregiver to others needing therapeutic physical therapy. He is an animal lover and has three pet Chinchillas (2 boys, father (Buddy) & son (Tippy), and their adopted sister Evie Grace) and a Bearded Dragon (Rosé). His animals are his children. Recently old wounds and loss of work during COVID resulted in depression and accidents happening including a fall that broke his ribs and punctured his lungs. Because his work is physical, he needed to wrap bandages to control pain and prevent further injury while trying to work, but a recent hospital stay has made overcoming financial loss too much to do alone.

To ease the stress and help him get back on his feet, I am asking for some help to raise money to assist Thom in paying for his upcoming rent for his apartment, the space he rents to do massage therapy (which he is fantastic at, by the way), past due bills/upcoming bills and expenses.

LGBQ persons still struggle to get help and ask for help, even when they are very responsible and often give care to others, like Thom.
