Financial assistance for the Beers family
Donation protected
Hi my name is Heather, together with some coworkers we are seeking donation to ease the financial burden from our friend/crewmate, Andrew Beers, and family after an unexpected accident at home.
On April 14, Andrew was working in his garage, as he can often be found doing, with a propane heater going. In a freak accident, the propane was leaking on his clothing and he ignited, lighting fire the bottom half of his body. Andrew has suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his legs that are requiring a skin graft surgery on April 17th.
Andrew has been a Michelin employee for 11 years, where he has been a member of the Emergency Response Team, assisting many crewmates in emergency situations.
Andrew has been a member of the Fire Sevice since 1988, and currently service with the New Mina’s Fire Department, where he has responded to countless calls and saved many lives.
He is a band member for the New Mina’s Baptist Church, that he’s been a parishioner for many many years. It’s very easy to say that Andrew has been selfless human both in the community and on the floor of Michelin. He has given to others in ways some of us could only dream of, and it’s time for us to have his back.
With the nature of his injuries, Andrew will be off work for an undetermined but expectedly lengthy time. Not just Andrew but his beautiful wife of 15 years, Michelle will also need to take time off work to tend to his care, and drive to appointments.
Any donation is appreciated and will all go to the Beers family to help during this challenging time.
Thank you for your time and showing support for Andrew, Michelle and their beautiful daughter Skye ❤️
