6/21/21 update: sweet Izzy is resting in the arms of Jesus today. Her little heart stopped beating about 7:45 last night. this go fund me has been changed to a final expenses fund raiser to help transport Izzys tiny body back home to Laurel Ms from Mobil Ala, her head stone and opening and closing of the grave. Any amount over that will be used to help Karly and Anthony recover financially from the past month of living in Mobil with no income. Please continue to lift them and their children in prayer over the next few days, weeks and months! Thank you for any donations , prayers and thoughts! Our family is forever grateful! 

I am setting up this GoFundMe me for my son Anthony Ekes and his wife Karly. They were expecting their baby girl in a September of 2021, however due to medical complications, Karly was admitted into the hospital at 20 weeks with her water broken, but only slowly leaking. They were able to keep her at FGH until she was 21 weeks and 6 days and she was transferred to USA women and children’s hospital in Mobile Ala. Sweet little Elizabeth Kathleen Ekes “Izzy” was born on May 20, 2021 at just 22 weeks exactly, weighing only 1.07 lbs and only 11 inches long! When she was born she was not breathing and her heart wasn’t beating, however they staff was able to resuscitate her and get her hooked up to the ventilator. She has many health complications and is still considered critical condition. She is looking at a very long hospital stay, and could have some long term complications as well, everyday is a blessing and we are claiming a miracle in her life! We ask that you continue to speak her name in prayer and claim that miracle with us! Her mom and dad are staying at the Ronald McDonald house which is such a blessing, however Anthony was the only one working and has had to take FMLA leave from work to be in Mobile with Karly and Izzy, and cherish every second they can with her and help each other through this scary situation! They have been in this same situation just last year when their baby girl Emaleigh was born prematurely as well, unfortunately her healing was not an earthly one and she only lived for 1 month. They are both still recovering emotionally and mentally from the loss of one daughter while worrying about and praying for that miracle in Elizabeth. They both need to be there, not only for Izzy but to help each other through everything as well. With that said, even though their life is on hold due to this tragedy, life doesn’t stop and bills must be paid. Rent won’t stop, car notes won’t stop, and power and water companies won’t stop. So I’m asking anyone to please help any way you can . If you can’t help financially, that’s okay, please share this and pray for them ! They have 4 children together from previous marriage/relationships so please pray for their children as well! They have already suffered the loss of one sibling and their hearts were shattered!
