Hello, After an amazing, eye-opening experience in Bougainville, I am asking for your help.
In the small village of Isina, while assisting with the construction of a new school, I had the pleasure to meet the Village Pastor and Chairman of the school - Solomon Dunsimoi. To say the experience was humbling is an understatement.
Before I left, I learned his brother, Wesley Atea, has been in hospital for months. He is undergoing many tests and treatments after not being able to swallow, eat and being in severe pain.
Wesley is in hospital in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Solomon has been by his side, away from their village and staying wherever he can so he can be close to support his brother.
I am wanting to help them as much as I possibly can.
The school construction has been delayed and the village is devastated with their absence.
If you can help at all - it would be very appreciated.
Upon arriving back in Canada yesterday, I was reminded that despite everything - we are very blessed here. My eyes have been opened to other lives in the corners of our world.
I have included photos of Solomon, two photos of Wesley in the PNG hospital and some photos of the school construction in the village.
Thank you,
Clint
