Hello,

My name is Amber Farion, and on Christmas day 2024 my father assaulted me. This is a pattern of abuse that I have dealt with my whole life. Most of the time he would inflict this torment while laughing, but there were many times this was done out of anger for things being not to his liking. This coupled with all of the emotional abuse I received has left me with a lifetime of trauma that I am still trying to untangle. He regularly called R*******, and S*****, which is especially hurtful as I have been diagnosed with Dyslexia, ADD, and was told that I might have a mild form of Autism. I dealt with torment and ableism at both my school and home throughout my childhood and teens. Which has lead to a permanent anxiety disorder.

I've had a pretty rough year, this was the final nail in my 2024 coffin.

In March of 2024, I accepted a friend into my house. A friend that was facing homelessness. She attempting to take her own life on my couch. She had multiple violent outbursts, some of which I witnessed and others I just heard about. This was meant to be a temporary solution until we could get the funds together to find a two bedroom, however I quickly realized that wasn't realistic with the state of her mental health and not living up to her end of the agreement we had made. She eventually packed a bag and left my home to live on the street, and later went back to her parents house.

These incidents along with the current state of our economy have left me both emotionally and financially drained.

I had been working all year at my parents house to clean and set up a sewing room in their spacious basement, so I could move back in with them and continue to work on my fashion line that I have been designing, as well as get a part time job to save up for the manufacturing costs. I did this all with no help from my family, and it still isn't finished. However moving back in with my parents is no longer an option as I have gone full no contact with my family.

I have living expenses that I need to cover while I take a little time off to deal with my trauma and the impending court case, as well as lawyers fees.
