Hi my name is Brian Evans and I am establishing this fundraiser to support my cousin, Brett Devine, who was seriously injured in an on the job accident Tuesday, October 17. He is self-employed with a Christmas Light business he owns and was on a job site installing lights when his ladder slipped and his leg was trapped in the ladder. Brett suffered a broken leg and other injuries related to the fall. Any money donated will go straight to his bank account and be used to cover some extensive medical bills related to the surgery required to reset his leg. Brett will endure a lengthy recovery which will require many MRIs and physical therapy expenses. Brett is a strong Christian man and father beloved by many, and his business supports his family, but unfortunately when he is laid up and cannot work he doesn't get paid. Any amount you may be comfortable donating will be beyond greatly appreciated to help him recover without the overwhelming pressure of knowing he is unable to work and take care of those he loves.
