Financial Aid for the flood victims

Hello,

I'm trying to gather money for the flood victims in Farkadona region. My village wasn't flooded but many friends and relatives have been affected. These pictures are shocking for me because I was walking in those streets, I studied in those flooded schools and I was invited into those flooded houses that people worked so hard to have and call home.

The money will be given to the 2nd Primary School in Farkadona as teachers are gathering money to provide to students school supplies, clothing and actively help families that are struggling financially. Will also provided to individuals that were most affected and are struggling to feed their themselves and their children, buy clothing and don't have a roof under their head. Winter is ahead and I want to help those people as much as I can.

Full disclosure, I'm relying on the information I get from my family, relatives and friends to directly help the community.

To understand how storm Daniel affected Thessaly, data from 7 September revealed an estimated flood area of around 73,000 hectares (180,000 acres). The floods in Thessaly, which supplies about 15% of Greece's agricultural production, destroyed the crops for the remainder of the year and caused serious long-term damage as the thick layer of mud will make the soil infertile, taking up to five years to become fully functional again and the storm damage in the region was calculated to be more than €2 billion.
