For those who know Caitlin and Patrick, you know that they would give the shirt off their back to anyone who needed it but now they are in need of our help. Caitlin will be undergoing the first of what could be many, invasive surgeries on Thursday July 24th, and as a result, Patrick will be off work for a minimum of 4 weeks and Caitlin will be off until November as of right now. This is a significant financial strain on their little family. Unfortunately bills and the costs of life won’t stop. Please take a moment to read the following from Caitlin’s family and if you are able to donate, no amount is too little

After years of seeking medical attention for various worsening symptoms, Caitlin has been diagnosed with a skull defect called Chiari malformation. It has caused severe syringomyelias within her spinal cord, leading to long-term irreversible damage. Because of this condition, she has been experiencing constant migraines, back pain, double vision, and loss of strength and feeling in her arms and hands. If that's not enough to concern, if surgery is not done quickly enough, it can lead to paralysis.

She is going for her first operation July 24th but may need to undergo several revisions, and they all come with lengthy recovery times. The recovery from the surgery will take 4-12 months depending on how many follow-up surgeries she needs to have.

Her husband Patrick will also need to take at least one month of work off to take care of her during the recovery. The financial strain of both of them not working despite her condition is additionally troublesome, considering that they also have a 2 year old daughter to take care of on top of everything else.

We are reaching out and asking for any assistance you can provide her family in their time of need. No amount is too small, and if you are unable to donate, that’s okay.
