Financial Aid For a Lebanese Student

I have always been fascinated by nuclear power and its clean energy that could help the whole world produce a zero carbon emission electricity , and thankfully, I got the chance in June 2021 to get into one of the best programs worldwide which is the “EPF Lausanne – ETH Zurich” joint Master program in Nuclear Science and Engineering. As a Lebanese, I have been deeply affected by the devastating crisis happening in my beloved country, but I never lost hope to achieve my life long dream and become a Nuclear Engineer. Unfortunately, due to the escalating economic crisis marked by the huge local currency devaluation, my parents have no longer the means to support and finance my studies.

 

Residing in Switzerland as an international student is indeed challenging, especially because of the high living expenses. I also considered working, but I must wait 6 months before I could get a work permit and work legally.

 

I am kindly asking you to help me so that I could get through this delicate period and subsidy myself untiI I find any sort of work after 6 months or begin an internship that would allow me to become financially independent.
