Financial Aid after injury

Hey , I am Brittany , my husband Henry and our 4 children, on Saturday October 26th , Henry was helping on a friend's roof, and just slipped a few mm and he practically severed his thumb, first day he had 19 stitches and then waited 6 days for a lengthy 2.5 hour surgery reattaching tendons and his nerve, now that he is in the healing process, he is unable to work, and we are pinching pennies to survive for the winter and pay the bills, as well as weekly appointments, being in New Brunswick winters are long and hard. We hate asking and don't know how to do much more then to Thank God for the healing that's happened and trust that we will get through the worst of it, we are looking at 3 months before he has any strength back in his hand at all,
