Finalizing the newly built classroom

Hey friends, sympathizers, donors and future volunteers!

For about a month now are we working in a newly built classroom called Oasis organizing English lessons as part of a program to prevent teenagers from falling into drugs, prostitution and criminality in Comuna Trece (a disadvantaged neighbourhood in Medellín).

The lessons are going great. For the children the classroom is a safe space, a home, a place where they can laugh, play, learn,... The classes are very popular and a lot of connections are being made.

However in order to create a comfortable qualitative safe place we did some investments of which there are still bills to be paid (an overview you can find below).

It would be very nice if you could help us out with a (small) donation.

2 fences for the balcony 680000 col pesos: +-140 euros

1 balcony 1500000 col pesos: +-300 euros

1 coffee machine 420000 col pesos: +- 85 euros (so there is coffee available for the volunteers who are going to teach).

50 study books: 1000000 col pesos (+- 200 euros)

1 projector: 605900 col pesos (+- 118 euros)

5 headphones (online class): 259000 col pesos (+- 52 euros)

20 chairs: 720000 col pesos (+- 145 euros)

6 tables 780000 col pesos (+- 156 euros)

Total: 1666 euros.
