Final wish to take the kids to Disney!

Our friend Vicki,

 It was a big shock to hear about Vickis illness. She was suffering immensely with easy tasks like eating and drinking. A hospital admission confirmed she had a blockage in the oesophagus which could easily be removed. A few weeks on and not feeling any better Vicki found out that sadly the blockage was in fact a cancerous tumour. It was totally unexpected news to hear this diagnosis. She took it all in her stride, determined and fearless she could shrink the tumour to have a successful operation. Just before Christmas, she finished her first day of Chemotherapy and became extremely unwell. She was too unwell to carry on so the specialists decided to pause over Christmas so she could enjoy time with her family. 

After Christmas and a routine scan Vicki was ready to give it another go but sadly the scan confirmed the cancer had moved into her blood stream and it was terminal. It needed so much courage to accept the truth and just face the situation but Vicki is brave enough to do just that. It is an incredibly difficult journey she is on but we are here, with her wonderful family to support and help in any way we can.
