Final wishes for Mom
As you all know my mom has been battling breast cancer for over 7 yrs. It's an aggressive cancer that ended up spreading to her bones and liver. She began her fight against this horrible disease and continues to fight now..she's been thru a mastectomy, radiation, and multiple chemo treatments both oral and intravenous. 2 months ago she was told by her oncologist that she had pretty much exhausted all her chemo options and was referred for clinical trials. As we waited for her appointment, she had no chemo treatment whatsoever and she began to weaken drastically and not eating nor drinking much. She began losing weight and easily exhausted. She lost alot of weight and muscle tone. Her body condition was poor to say the least. Her blood work looked good to start the clinical trials when we went to her appointment, but her body condition determined that she needed to begin eating more, start a high doses of laxatives to help move along her constipation, and keep hydrated to become stronger so she can endure the treatment option.
So we came home hopeful. Well last week her pain and weakness became too much and agreed to hospice at home to see if managing her pain would allow her to regain her strength. Unfortunately her body is tired and she is declining so fast now. She cant hold anything down and is weakwrdaily...
She is showing symptoms that indicate she maybe reaching her day of going home to be with the Lord.
I had some money saved for her funeral expenses but that was depleted greatly last year due to me being out of work with 2 weeks of fevers and swollen joints and going in and out of the hospital. Then i took another weak to recuperate from my fever of unknown origin. And this hospice transition has also had me lose some income since im having to cancel some grooming appointments since im her caregiver at home.
I need alot of help since mom would like to be buried close to Noe at the catholic cemetery Our Lady of Refuge. The plots there are $3,750 and i yet to figure out how much the service and a casket will be.
Im asking for help and donations to set her at ease knowing she will be close to her son for eternity.
