# Final Truth — The Next Chapter: 2026–2027 Production Fund

Help us bring an ambitious independent feature film to life — and support the future of filmmaking in the South of England.

Final Truth is an independent feature film combining historical mystery, adventure and romance, taking audiences on a journey from the world of Cleopatra in ancient Egypt to a modern-day search for a remarkable secret.

Behind the film is a dedicated team of filmmakers, actors and creative professionals, working together to bring an ambitious story to the screen.

What We've Achieved So Far

Our 2025–2026 production budget of £5,800 has been funded principally through the generous contributions of the founders of Chichester FilmMakers C.I.C., alongside limited community support and public funding received in 2025.

With these modest resources, we've already achieved some important milestones.

In 2025, we filmed the **Chichester Chase Scene**, an exciting sequence set in the heart of our historic city.

We've also made substantial progress in digitally creating and constructing the large and complex environments needed to recreate **ancient Egypt**, including the world of Cleopatra.

The remaining funds are helping to support our next filming milestone on **24 November 2026**, when we plan to film Young Cleopatra ascending the steps of the royal palace to meet her father, King Ptolemy XII.

These achievements demonstrate what can be accomplished through creativity, determination and the generosity of people who believe in independent filmmaking.

The Next Chapter — Filming in 2027

To continue production, **Chichester FilmMakers C.I.C. is launching a new fundraising campaign**, with an online fundraising ambition of approximately **£46,000–£55,000**.

This campaign will contribute towards our wider production fundraising programme and help finance the next series of important scenes planned between March and November 2027, including:

- **Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony** — bringing another chapter of ancient Egypt to life.

- **Southampton Docks** — recreating the atmosphere and events of the 1920s.

- **Rome Discovery Scenes** — revealing important clues in the film's unfolding mystery.

Further fundraising will support additional key location filming in **Prague, London, Chichester and Portsmouth**, which we aim to complete before April 2028.

Every contribution, whatever its size, helps us take another step towards completing *Final Truth*.

More Than Just Making a Film

Our ambitions extend beyond the production of a single feature film.

Through *Final Truth*, we want to help establish a sustainable filmmaking presence in Chichester and across the South of England.

We aim to create opportunities for local actors, aspiring filmmakers, production crew and apprentices to work alongside experienced professionals, develop practical skills and gain valuable on-set experience.

We believe that bringing professional film production into our local communities can help nurture new talent, strengthen creative networks and support the development of a thriving regional film industry.
