Final Step to Grad: Choosing Life, Chasing Purpose Abroad

I’m a culinary student walking boldly in the purpose God has placed over my life. I wasn't always on this path. In fact, not too long ago, I was in a place where I couldn’t see my worth, my value, or even a reason to keep going. But through God's grace and mercy, I was given a choice of life or death, and I chose life.

When I say I chose life, I don’t just mean choosing to be here physically. I mean choosing to truly live— to be present in my life, not letting it pass me by. I chose to live with intention, to live out my purpose, and to live fully for God. That choice meant everything had to change. I walked away from a promising, stable career. I let go of familiarity and comfort, and I started over — not with certainty, but with faith. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, and the spiritual warfare that followed was intense. But it was in that brokenness that God met me. He began transforming me from the inside out. Through obedience, I’ve become someone I never thought I could be: spiritually grounded, deeply passionate, and filled with purpose.

Culinary school has been a dream come true. Every dish I create, every class I attend, every skill I sharpen feels like an act of worship — like I’m honoring the calling God placed in me to serve and connect people through food.

Now, I’ve been blessed with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study abroad in Italy for my final semester before graduation in December 2025. As someone who has never been out of the country, this chance will expand not only my culinary education but also my soul. I’ll be immersed in the birthplace of some of the world’s richest food traditions — a priceless experience that will shape the chef I’m becoming.

Unfortunately however, I’ve reached the end of my financial aid. In order to say “yes” to this opportunity, I need your support. Here’s what I’m raising:

• $6,700 for tuition balance

• $2,500 for a round-trip flight

• $4,000 for basic living expenses for three months (housing, transportation, meals)

I won’t be able to work while I’m away, so every bit will help me stay afloat while focusing on my studies and growth. Your donation doesn’t just fund a trip — it invests in a woman who is determined to bless others through the gift God has given her.
