I firstly want to start by saying this was a big deal for me to reach out for help, as I'm not someone who does this, especially when it comes to money, however I need your assistance.

For some of you this will be no surprise but I know there are a lot of people who don't know my story and may be surprised to be finding out this way.

I started my gender transition around the age of 21, as the more I started to mature the more I knew something did not add up.

I started hormone replacement therapy and started to physically become the person I always was on the inside.

Being transgender does not define me, but it is starting to consume me.

For the past few years I have kept this to myself but I feel I cannot keep doing this.

I'm now at the stage where I've stalled and still require surgeries to feel complete.

Unfortunately for me to feel at peace with my body I require further surgeries that are deemed as elective which means they are not covered by health funds and are very expensive. Asking for your help to raise $25,000 is sadly only about a quarter of what I will need but any money that I am able to raise will help me get a step closer.

I have increased the amount to $40,000 as additional fees received from quotation regarding anesthetist and out of pocket hospital fees have set me back further.
