Dear Friends and Community,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the tragic loss of Steve, who passed away suddenly in September 2025. His unexpected departure has left his beloved wife struggling not only with the profound grief of losing her partner but also with the financial burden of arranging a proper resting place.

Steve was a cherished husband, father, and friend, and his memory deserves to be honoured with the dignity and respect he brought to the lives of those around him. His wife’s heartfelt wish is to secure a place of rest where their children can visit, reflect, and find comfort in the years to come.

He was not just a husband; he was a father, a grandfather, a brother, a friend and a genuinely good soul who possessed a true heart of gold.

Steve would help anyone in need. That selfless spirit was the defining characteristic of his life.

Many of you will know that Steve spent much of his time raising money for various causes. Just Last year, in 2024, he participated in The Full Monty event if and successfully raised thousands of pounds for many charities.

We are kindly appealing to your compassion and generosity to help ease this burden. We as a group are running a 24 hour cycle at the crown pub in Hillsborough to raise funds for his final resting place. Anything after this will be passed onto to Mind in his name.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your support will provide his family with a peaceful place to remember Steve and create a lasting tribute for his children to connect with their father’s memory.
