Dear Family & Friends,
I come to you with a humble heart as Hospice Staff is currently preparing us for my StepDad Frank (Pancho, Red)
Pedraza’s final days.
Pampo as we refer to him, is currently in a hospice facility as he has an inoperable aneurysm. He has been surrounded by many family members and so many friends, it is truly beautiful to see how everyone loves him.
Pampo was a proud business owner for many years up until 2002; owner of Las Palmas Upholstery smack in the middle of the West Side of San Antonio… he called it the pride of the West Side. He was Self Taught and did work for Mercedes-Benz, Ken Batchelor Cadillac and Volkswagen to name a few. Such a dying trade, he made time to teach others his skills and tricks of the trade, some of which went on to open their own upholstery shops.
There are so many fond memories of all the joyous times spent in laughter with Pampo… whether it be fishing trips to Corpus Christi and fishing off the jetties with all the Pedraza brothers. To staying up all night next to the fire laughing with family and friends. Those long drives to Houston Astro World to most recently watching him spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. For me the most beautiful memory I will carry in my heart is how amazing he and my mother looked on a dance floor!
Im sure I could go on and on about our Pampo… there is so much to say about him.
My Mother and immediate family members are pleading for any help that you might be able to extend as this was such an unfortunate and unforeseen medical emergency.
His doctors have done all that can and he is currently kept comfortable but medical staff have started to prepare my Mother for what is inevitable to happen in these next hours or days.
I have never had to do this or ask for help and I have sat here contemplating just the right words to put down.
My Mother would most definitely love to give him a WELL DESERVED Funeral with a Rosary and Mass.
I want to thank you in advance for any contribution you can make.
I’m honored to be able to spend these last moments with my Stepdad and I have faith that he will be DANCING in HEAVEN soon.
