Final Push: Housing Help for Sharonda

Hey y’all!

My name is Sharonda, I’m a senior at PVAMU (Prairie View A&M for the uninitiated), and this is my last semester like, the finish line is RIGHT there! But in true PV fashion… things had to get interesting.

This summer I found out I had a balance on my housing lease (because PV loves a surprise ), and now my lease is gone. No warning, no mercy, just poof. I’m now in a race against time to secure an off-campus apartment at The Gates at PVAMU so I can finish my degree without couch surfing or living outside like it’s a season of Survivor: Prairie View Edition.

I’m trying to raise $500–$600 for a down payment ASAP. I do have a job, but let’s be real the math is mathing… and it’s saying I won’t make that much in a week.
