Many of you know Mike Barrett and the incredible testimony of resilience, faith, and selfless service that marks his life. In the face of deep personal loss and battle with stage 4 cancer, Mike continued to pour himself out in love — for people and for God. Anyone who has seen him worship or preach knows his heart burns to love the Lord with everything he has. When my family responded to the call to plant a church in Dallas, Texas, Mike moved out of California to be a part of the work that God has envisioned for Blessed Texas Church. He has been a tremendous blessing to our community of faith and the neighborhood he lives in -- gaining the reputation of being a man of prayer, faith, and having hope in Jesus even in the most difficult life circumstances.

Earlier this year, Mike purchased a 1989 Airstream to rebuild that would eventually become his place of rest and refuge. Since then, our Dallas community has rallied around him, investing time, funds, and sweat into a full rebuild. We've repaired the exterior, addressed critical infrastructure, and even witnessed God miraculously provide materials along the way.

Now we're in the final stretch — needing help to finish the interior before winter hits. This includes insulation, walls, a bathroom, electrical work, cabinets, and a couple of windows.
