Final Moments with my Hero Connor
Donation protected

Sadly last Friday I was on my own with connor doing his morning care and drug regime when he sunddenly became extremely poorly and breathless and his chest flooded with fluid and he couldn’t breathe, paramedics were called and stabilised him enough to transfer him to Jacks Place Hospice, which is where he remains now, on his ventilator 24/7 with syringe drivers and a complex drug regime.
The fluid was caused by heart failure and we have now been told that Connor doesn’t have long left, my heart is broken and I am just functioning on auto pilot as I am a single parent and also have a 4 year old called Jackson with ASD .
I work at a hospice myself but have had to take time off sick to care for my family, so as you can imagine the financial impact is massive at this time and travelling backwards and forwards to the hospice in Winchester daily is eating into the small amount of savings I had, I am worrying about making sure connor has all he needs to be at home ,funeral costs , paying my rent, keeping my car on the road.
Connor wants to come home for whatever time he has left and we are in talks this week to try and make that happen but with the right care and nursing package in place so I can just be his Mum.
Anybody that knows me well knows I never ask for help but I have to swallow my pride right now and reach out!
I am crying typing this as I hate asking for help but Please Help if you can.
Thank you from the bottom of my broken heart
