Final Marathon Goal: Tokyo 2026

Hey everyone! I am happy to share that I have been accepted into the 2026 TOKYO MARATHON!

I have the honor of running with Teach for Japan, “a fellowship organization that trains aspiring teachers in Japan, and helps place them in schools throughout Japan, helping make sure that no child goes without an excellent education.” Their mission particularly moved me because my older brother, Michael, teaches English to Japanese students in Hokkaido, and I’d love the chance to help those pursuing a similar path.

I am so excited, but in order to secure my spot, I must raise $3,200 in donations by August 7. Would you consider helping me reach my goal?

Japan will be my eighth and final marathon to complete “Operation Globetrotter,” a goal I set for myself during my first year in college. It’s been a transformative experience and taken me on a journey of self-discovery. Training and running have brought me countless new experiences, friends, community, and joy.

After I run CHICAGO on October 12 and NEW YORK on November 2, Tokyo will be the sixth and final major needed to qualify for the Six Star Medal given by Abbott World Marathon Majors.
