# Help Me Lay My Mother to Rest

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who peacefully went home after an 11-year battle with dementia/Alzheimers. She suffered a massive stroke on Thursday July 10th and passed away surrounded by love.

As the primary provider for my family, I am now faced with the overwhelming task of traveling to Nigeria with my immediate family to give our mother and grand mother the dignified funeral she deserves. The costs of international travel, funeral arrangements, and related expenses are beyond what we can manage alone during this difficult time.

Mom was a pillar of strength and love in our lives. She deserves to be honored and laid to rest with dignity in her homeland. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us say our final goodbye and celebrate her life.
