Assistance for SA Ahkit-Hull Family
Donation protected
***UPDATE***
His farewell will be next week around the WED 22nd July, thankfully after the SA borders may be open to NT.
The family now hope to leave Pt Augusta, SA on SUN 19th and return to Adelaide after the Funeral.
Our brother and esteemed Arabunna & Jawoyn leader John Ah Kit, the first Aboriginal minister in the Northern Territory parliament and a lifetime advocate for the rights of Aboriginal people suddenly passed at Royal Darwin Hospital on Sunday night..
This was an overwhelming shock and a tragic loss, that has rocked the family here in South Australia and due to these unforeseen circumstances, we ( 8 sisters and 1 brothers.) are seeking financial assistance to hire a 12 seater bus to travel all together.
All financial assistance will be used for me and my older siblings to travel to Darwin and return to SA for all expenses we will now incure such as : Accommodation Travel - Hire and Petrol, Incidentals.
The financial assistance we are seeking are Hotel rooms and/or B& B style Accommodation so as many of us can stay close together and this also is not putting too much pressure on our family in Darwin.
Any funds on return to SA will be forwarded to Gail and the family back in Darwin
Your assistance to help me and my older brother and sisters say goodbye so we can also Celebrate our time with him as our Mothers eldest son and our Brother.
