From JE Russell: Dear friends, as my cousins Sharon and Andromeda have posted on her Facebook pages, my cousin Lisa Russell passed away unexpectedly Monday morning at home after what appears to be an accident/fatal event (most likely a major stroke).

Andromeda and I (JE Russell) are trying to help get her sons Justin (29) & Gunner (14) and Justin's wife Rene (and all of their family pets) through what will be a very difficult time of loss and upheaval. If you knew Lisa at all, you know she was a rock that you could depend on, and took charge when decisions needed to be made, and all of these events have caught her entire family unaware and unprepared.

You may not know this, but the property where they have lived for some years has been sold by the owners, and the family was already scheduled to move out on the 29th of this month. The date is non-negotiable and non-extendable.

Also, as Lisa had suffered a stroke a little while back and could no longer safely work as a Nurse, she had just started receiving disability. However, due to the length of time this process takes, they had not yet recovered financially for the loss of livelihood and toll that financial hardship can take.

Because of this and her very untimely death at 50 years of age, there is little to no money to take care of her final expenses, provide for the move that the kids now are forced into making alone, or any other immediate needs. It's a bad situation, piled on a big old mess, stacked in a giant shit sandwich as Lisa might have said.

To help out in this time of extreme need, I am going to set up a Go Fund Me page tomorrow (links on Facebook page) for these expenses. I know the time of year is bad, I know finances are tight for everyone, and there is uncertainty in the air for everyone, but I ask that if you can even spare $5 that you reach down deep and give it.

All of the gathered donations will go to defray the expenses of her funereal arrangements, and help the kids settle in a new home and get back on their feet after this devastating loss of their mom and family pillar.
