This fundraiser is to help with the memorial/cremation for William V Hayes, IV (AKA Will). He was diagnosed with metastatic testicular cancer in 2019 and fought so hard to beat it these last 4 years. He had 2 Stem Cell Transplants, several rounds of chemo, and radiation. Unfortunately nothing really worked, and he passed away 2/7/2023. He was only 37 when he passed.
We will be using the funds to pay for the funeral home services as well as travel expenses for family and friends. We would also like to have a celebration of life for him, one in Washington where he lived and one in Oregon where most of his surviving family resides.
Will was an amazing man. He always had a smile on his face and a word of encouragement for anyone he thought might need it. And whether you knew him for minutes, days, or a lifetime, he had that unique ability to see into you and meet you where you were, whatever your struggle or celebration. And that's the spirit in which we are asking for help; wherever you're at, even if all you can share is a story, we are so, so grateful for every contribution of any kind.
