My name is Carlota Andrade. I am the daughter in law of Gail and Bruce Hermann and wife of Bill Hermann.

 

Rich Hermann unexpected passed away on December 16th, 2021. This was a request from many to help with final expenses for Rich. We are asking to cover his cremation costs and burial. A memorial service is being planned currently.

 

Obituary

Richard T. “Rich” Hermann, age 40, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

 

Rich is survived by his parents Bruce and Gail (nee Cusack) Hermann; brother, William (Carlota Andrade) Hermann; his aunt Sandy Strong; uncles Howard and Jerry Cusack; and many nieces and nephews.

 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Eileen Cusack, and his paternal grandparents Richard and Lydia Hermann.

 

Rich was a fun-loving guy who was always busy with a new endeavor. After his graduation from Columbia College Chicago, he became an entrepreneur with a focus on entertainment. Whether it was running a podcast, the dreams of opening a night club, or most famously rapping under the name “Filthy Rich”. Rich was a bright man who easily made connections with others. He had a very vast web of friends from all over. He was also a diehard Chicago White Sox fan and a huge lover of Star Wars. Especially Darth Vader. Rich will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

 

Services for Rich are still pending and will be held at a later date.
