On January 12 Matthew suffered cardiac arrest. The paramedics worked on him for 35 mins and restored his heart beat but he was in a coma. The morning of January 13th they preformed an EEG and a CAT scan. The test revealed Matthew had irreparable brain damage and he would never wake up. After consulting with the doctors and professionals, we honored Matthews request to not be kept alive artificially. Mom and I stayed with him all night. On January 14th at 10:25 am, Matthew went on to be with the Lord with dad and Russ. This was not something we had any warning or signs that this was coming.
