Final Expenses for Mary Ellen

A little over a week ago, my grandma, Mary Ellen Knight, got a dizzy spell and her heart stopped for ten seconds. She was airlifted to Carle Hospital where her heart gave out and she passed away five days later.

For the past four years, my parents have been her caretaker, meeting her needs in her older age following the loss of her leg. Recent years of poor health have taken a toll on my parents financially.

Now, my parents have been tasked with taking care of her final expenses, something that they were not expecting to need to address so suddenly. Due to the quick nature of her health decline, they were not able to secure life insurance for my grandma.

With limited finances, they are unable to fully take care of her final expenses.
