My sister, Katelyn, passed away in her home
on Sunday, December 27, 2020.  As you all
know, I have custody of her 9 year old
daughter, Alivia. Katelyn did not have any type of life insurance and her daughter is
considered her “next of kin”. I have spent the
day working with the funeral director on how
to lay her to rest and give Alivia the proper
closure for her mom and best friend.  
Unfortunately I cannot handle these expenses on my own. Katelyn was gifted a burial plot by her paternal grandparents. In addition to
these expenses Alivia is going to need
extensive counseling as she has a long road of healing ahead of her. Before we can schedule a memorial service all fees must be paid up
front. Family and friends, if you are able please consider making a donation to help me cover
her final expenses. I offered to put a lien on my home or make payment arrangements but
that is not an option.

My plan is to have her cremated, a memorial
service  and then have her ashes buried in the plot next to her grandfather.
