Hi my name is Jody. My daughter and son in law (Jamie & Jake Marotta) gave birth (via emergency c-section) to my beautiful granddaughter Grace Mae 12/31/23 after Jamie's water ruptured. She weighed 3lbs 3oz and 15 inches long. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with anencephaly and only lived for 21 minutes outside the womb. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her doting mom and dad.

Jamie & Jake are the most generous, loving Christian couple I know. Although this is unfair, we all have to trust HIS plan.

So many people have reached out to me and asked if there's anything they can do to help & many people suggested a Go Fund Me. Our church was so gracious to set up a meal train & donations for them, but the medical bills, burial costs, and time off of work to grieve and comfort each other are costs that no parent should EVER endure.

I'm asking that if you cannot help out financially, please pray for them in these devastating times.
