Curtis was truly one-of-a-kind. This bear-sized guy who a friend once described as being built like a "Brick House" looked so intimidating on the outside, was a loving father, son and husband, a hard-working, kind, helpful, loyal guy, a friend for life. He did his best never to let you down if you needed him.

In the last few year, he became riddled with health problems, starting with the loss of his Achilles tendon and ending with his passing. He tried very hard to still always be "That guy," the one who was there if you needed him, though he really couldn't move beyond his room without help. But now he's moved passed that, he is restored to that healthy form while watching down on us all.

I don't know how to word it correctly, but I humbly ask if you could donate to this gofundme to help pay for the expenses that will soon pile up.

There will be a memorial service sometime in the future, and all will be invited to attend.
