Hello, my name is Rochelle, and I am the sister of Ami Oliver.
It is with a heavy and broken heart that I share the heartbreaking news that my beloved sister Ami has passed away after a courageous battle with stage four cancer.
Throughout her illness, Ami fought with extraordinary strength and grace. Sadly, because she was out of work for over 90 days during her treatment, she lost both her medical and life insurance benefits—despite having proudly served nearly 10 years with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
As our family begins the painful process of laying her to rest, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for support. Any contributions to help us give Ami the dignified farewell she deserves and assist with final expenses—especially for her 9 year old daughter Ava—would mean so much to us.
In Ami’s memory, I also want to gently encourage everyone to stay up to date with regular checkups and preventative screenings. Early detection can save lives.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. Every gesture, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated.
With gratitude,
Rochelle
