After a long and determined battle with cancer, Karen passed away Sunday January 26  peacefully with her family by her side.

Karen was a warrior.  She was kind to everyone, helped anyone who needed her.  She was a wonderful Mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and talented teacher.  She went above and beyond to make people believe in themselves and show them who they can be.

Karen is one of a kind.  She did more in her 48 years than most do in a lifetime.
