Final Expences Richie Detlef Jr
Donation protected
Hi, I am Richie Moore a very long-time friend of Rich Detlef Jr.
Rich passed away at home February 15th, 2022, from a massive heart attack. We are trying to prepare for his final expenses ourselves, Rich was unemployed at the time of death and did not have any insurance or savings, like many of us he lived week to week.
Rich has struggled with addiction for many years, at the time of death he did have some clean time that he was very proud of. He was actively trying to put things together to have a "normal" live.
He tried to make amends with people that he did wrong to and hurt during his long-time battle with addiction. Some people welcomed him and helped him celebrate his sobriety while others did not. (I guess some wounds were just to deep to forgive), I know this was a trigger for depression for Rich but he fully understood the entire situation and never blamed anyone for not wanting to advance or take action towards reconciliation. He tried, he talked about this and other struggles at his meeting and always felt that one day everything would work out for the better. He was a person that was always trying to look at the positive in a situation and had hope.
He suffered from depression and anxiety, but you wouldn’t know it because if you knew Rich you laughed with Rich. He just wanted anyone and everyone that he was with to have a good time, to laugh to make memories. This was definitely a strong point in Rich’s life. This was the real Richie Noodles.
He had problems and issues with addiction but that never stopped Rich from being a good friend to many people. If you had an issue or problem, it instantly became his problem as well. He was the type of person that would stop everything and try to help you in any way to help fix your problem.
Rich, you will always be missed, and I know that you have left this world in person but so many people will continue to have great memories of you and good times that you helped to create. Years from now, stories will be told about “do you remember the time with Noodles? Do you remember when we did this with Noodles? I remember when Noodles……..
May you rest in peace my brother, and as you always said, “Don’t Worry, We Got This”
If your still reading this, Please, if you can find it in your heart, please help us to pay for Richs final expenses. We are approx. 2500 dollars short and need to act fast to send our friend off the right way. God Bless and RIP Richie Noodles
