Final Expenses for John "Buck" Roebuck
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Joshua Roebuck, John Roebuck's son. I am starting this GoFundMe to help pay for the final expenses of my father John Howard Roebuck. Unfortunately he did not have any arrangements in place in the event of his death. We are raising funds to cover funeral costs as well as any other final expenses, bills, and lawyer fees.
John or "Buck" as many people knew him, was definitely a people person. I have been told many times that his smile and presence would light up the room. He has been a member of The Capital Church for many years. He was often involved in many aspects with the church.
He also was known for singing Karaoke at multiple locations around the area where he had many friends. Most will remember him for singing like Elvis or perhaps the Beatles.
Beyond this, he was a loving friend, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. He never failed to mention any number of his friends when I would talk to him. He constantly made sure that his friends and family knew they were loved. He was one of the most happy men in the world when he found out he was going to be a Granddad and loved both his Grandchildren and his Great Granddaughter.
I intend to hold some type of memorial service at his Church (The Capital Church in Garner, NC), as well as a memorial at one of the venues he visited often for Karaoke (probably The Cleveland Draft House in Clayton). I will be attempting to set this up in the following days.
Know that he is in peace, in Heaven, reunited with his mother and father and his final wish would be that you would eventually join him there.
God Bless you all.
-Joshua Roebuck
