Final dissertation short film project- Anaxiphilia

Hiya! My name is Liv, I’m in my final year attending the university of Chichester conservatoire and for our dissertation I am tasked to create a 6-10 minute short film.

My film, Anaxiphilia, is an original concept showcasing the gritty side of a manipulative relationship and the difficulties of leaving.

It is all set and based around a couples’ therapy office, where every question the therapist asks, triggers a flashback to a previous relating moment in the relationship.

Throughout the film, the viewer will see the progression of the relationship through these flashbacks, while also seeing the guards and walls that are put up in the therapist office because of the difficulties to speak out or acknowledge any wrongdoings when the issues lie with someone you love.

I aim for this film to be artistically shot and set, to really be able to capture the pain and beauty of complex human emotion and behaviours.

I’ve been selling old clothes to raise some money towards it but I was hoping for a bit of extra help.

Set, camera ops and other expenses are very costly!! Any funds raised will go towards camera crew, set and expenses!
