Tetsuki's Philly Film Finishing Funds
Donation protected
Hi friends and family,
I love horror genre movies. My wife teases me that I often watch horror movies all night long.
During my career in the film business, I've done everything from running the projector, organizing film exhibitions to producing and distributing Asian independent films domestically and internationally.
Now, I am stepping behind the lens to direct and produce my first short film, LAUNDROMAT ON THE CORNER. I co-wrote the script based on the cinematic tradition of Chinese ghost stories. My hope is to combine Asian elements with American independent films.
He met the love of his life. But it might cost him -- his life...
LAUNDROMAT ON THE CORNER is a Philadelphia love production. All of the cast, crew, editor, music composer, and locations are Philly-based. My cast and crew shot around the clock at locations from South Philly to Kensington to the parking lot at Ikea. I am proud to work with them.
Recently Greater Philadelphia Film Office's site features me as follows:

My goal is to take my short film to the Cannes Film Festival next May. I’m asking you to help me to raise $5,000 to complete the film.
The finishing funds will go towards
- Editing
- Color correction and visual design
- Music and sound mix
- Promotional materials
- Submission fees at film festivals
Can you contribute $5, $25, $100, any amount to help me finish the film and get it ready for the Cannes red carpet?
Thank you all so much!
