Final Call: Help Me Keep Atrioxhosting Alive!

Atrioxhosting
Heya,
My name is MennoJob Gravekamp, I’m 24 years old and I live in Zuid-Holland, the Netherlands. I’m the founder of Atrioxhosting, a volunteer-driven hosting project based in the Netherlands. My mission is simple but powerful: to bring high-quality game hosting to everyone — without high costs. To make premium game hosting accessible and affordable for everyone. This GoFundMe helps me move from rented servers to powerful, owned dedicated hardware.

From community project to hosting platform
Atrioxhosting didn’t start with investors or a business plan. It started with a passion project: SparksNetwork, a Minecraft server created by me, MennoJob. SparksNetwork wasn’t just another minecraft-game server. It was built around a simple but rare goal: to give players a fun, fair multiplayer experience — without making them pay for things like ranks or perks. No pay-to-win, no pressure to donate. Just pure, accessible gaming. That philosophy became the foundation of everything Atrioxhosting stands for today.

As SparksNetwork grew, so did the need for reliable infrastructure. But most hosting providers out there were overpriced, underpowered, and full of hidden costs. Running a game server the right way — with stability, speed, and freedom — wasn’t affordable for smaller communities or creators.

Instead of accepting that, I decided to build something better. On January 17th, 2024 (my birthday), I officially launched Atrioxhosting: a hosting platform made by gamers, for gamers — focused on transparency, performance, and accessibility.

What makes Atrioxhosting different?
I don’t believe in forcing people into expensive plans or locking basic features behind paywalls. At Atrioxhosting, the volunteers and I aim to provide premium hosting without the premium price.

  • Prices start at just €0.75/GiB for the i7-8700 CPU — still considered “premium” by many. We call it ultra-budget.
  • Many other hosts simply ask you to buy the product just to test it. If you're lucky, you’ll get a refund. Nonsense! We always offer a free 48-hour test server. Don’t like it? Don’t pay it.
  • We hide absolutely nothing. Any information we’re legally allowed to share — we share. Transparency is key.

We host our servers in a small rack at the Skylink Datacenter in the Netherlands. It’s not a giant operation — just a carefully managed setup using solid, high-performance hardware that we own and maintain ourselves.

With DDR5 RAM, fast NVMe storage, and powerful AMD CPUs, we offer reliable performance to communities of all sizes. We also operate under our own ASN (215865) with dedicated IPv4 and IPv6 (Although currently not visible) ranges, giving us full control over routing, uptime, and stability.

We don’t resell someone else’s infrastructure. We run our own — because we believe in doing things right.

Why I need your help
Atrioxhosting is growing. More and more players and creators are switching to us because they’re tired of overpriced, underpowered hosts.

Right now, most of our game-nodes run on rented dedicated servers from Hetzner. It’s a solid temporary solution, but far from ideal in the long term. Monthly rental fees add up fast — and over time, this becomes much more expensive than owning the hardware ourselves.

To stay independent, scale efficiently, and keep our prices low, we need to move away from rented servers and start deploying our own physical hardware.

But purchasing high-performance dedicated servers is a big upfront investment — and as a volunteer-driven project, we simply don’t have the capital to make that leap alone.

That’s where you come in.

What your donation will fund
Your donation goes directly toward purchasing dedicated servers, which we install in our own rack at the Skylink Datacenter in the Netherlands. These aren't standard servers — we use specialized dual-node servers. Each chassis contains two fully independent server systems. This setup allows us to:
  • Save valuable physical space in the datacenter
  • Reduce hardware costs over time

Each node is equipped with a high-performance AMD Ryzen CPU on the AM5 platform, DDR5 memory, and fast NVMe storage. We purchase, configure, and manage all hardware ourselves — no resellers, no leasing, no middlemen.

Once installed, these servers become part of our core infrastructure, powering multiplayer game servers for communities across various platforms. By transitioning away from rented Hetzner servers and moving to our own dual-node hardware, we gain:
  • Better long-term cost efficiency
  • More control over performance and uptime
  • The ability to grow and scale on our own terms
  • Lower dependence on external providers

Even a small donation brings us closer to the next dual-node machine. Every cent goes directly into physical infrastructure — nothing else.

A message from the team
I started Atrioxhosting because I believed there had to be a better way — and now we know we’re not the only ones who feel that way.

If you’ve ever wanted to run a game server but couldn’t afford it, we’re building this.
If you’ve ever dealt with a host that cared more about upsells than uptime, we’re doing it differently.
If you believe multiplayer gaming should be fun, fair, and accessible — you’re one of us!

Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for being part of this.
Let’s make multiplayer gaming better — together.

Thank you for your support,
