It saddens us to announce that my dear cousin Anthony 'Tony" Diaz has gained his wings today at 10:29 am. He was only 35 years old. We received the horrible news only a couple of hours ago and are still in shock. There are no words to describe the depth this loss has had on our family and loved one, especially his father and daughter.

It goes without saying that Tony will be missed by all who knew him and will never be forgotten. He had a way of bringing a smile on your face with every encounter. Always joking around! Unfortunately, as most of you know Tony was serving a sentence in a Miami Dade county prison and was expected to be released in 2023. We are currently waiting on the medical examiner's report to determine the cause of death.

We are asking for donations due to the fact, that his death came unexpectedly and considering his current situation my family was not financially prepared for his final arrangements. No amount is too small and any/and all funds collected will be used to transport his body from Miami to Cape Coral because his father lives here and is in no condition to travel. The funds will also be used for the funeral memorial cost and cremation cost.
