Celebration of Life for Sophia James Walcker

My name is Jennifer Hatch. I'm setting up this Gofundme to help my Sister Sara, from another mother and my Brother Tyler, from another mister, as they unexpectedly lost their baby girl, my niece, Sophia James night before last.

Sophia was a beautiful, sweet, strong, T-21 and CHD warrior. She had faced and overcome MANY health battles and struggles in her blessed 3 1/2 years we had with her on this earth. She has the BEST parents any child could ever dream to have. Sara and Tyler, along with big sister Olivia, have been by sweet Sophia's side every step of the way. Their family has been in and out of hospitals many, many times, with this last time totalling the better part of the last 4 months.

Night before last, while in the hospital, Sophia went into cardiac arrest and despite working on her for 70 minutes while waiting for Daddy Tyler to arrive, they just couldn't save her.

Our strong little warrior Sophia James Walcker passed peacefully in her Momma's arms with Daddy by her side at 11:09pm on Tuesday February 28, 2023.

Without question our family is absolutely devastated beyond words. In Sara's own words "something like this wasn't even on the radar".

Due to the length of numerous hospital stays over many months/years, Sara and Tyler have already been put under a significant financial strain.

I do not know yet what Sophia's final arrangements will consist of exactly, I just know Sara and Tyler need to be able to make these final plans and arrangements in which ever manner they feel is best for their family and to honor our brave sweet strong little warrior fighter Sophia James Walcker.
