Hi, my name is Jen Smith.
On October 3, 2020 my sister Heather and her husband David Wright died unexpectedly in a car accident in Hastings, MI. They were married for many years and loved each other mor than anything. The only small blessing in this is that they were as together in death as they were in life. They leave behind a 9 year old son, Dillen.
There is no life insurance to help cover the cost of their final arrangements or to set their son up with the things a child needs for the coming winter, the rest of the school year and his future without his parents.
My husband and I have 3 kids and while we take my nephew in without a moments hesitation, we were not financially prepared to add a 4th child so unexpectedly.
All donations will go to their final arrangements and anything after that will go to Dillen and his care. No donation is too small and all help will be greatly appreciated.
