It is with a heavy heart that our family creates this gofundme account for our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend First Class Petty Officer Stephen C. Losee. Our goal is to raise enough money to cremate him and see him safely to his beloved wife, Sylvia and parents where they are laid to rest in Pine Plains, NY. Naturally we are grateful for the contribution from the VA, but we are still quite short from the necessary amount to complete these final tasks. Steve was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam and received two purple hearts. After this, he transferred into the Navy where he continued to serve his county for a further 20 years until retirement. All the while, Steve married Sylvia and they began a family. Their children, Donna and Steve remember their father fondly, are very proud of him and will always cherish the life he lived and shared with them.
