Final arrangements for Bony Rivera
Donation protected
Our family is currently grieving the sudden loss of Bony Rivera, as the Holidays are right around the corner!
"nothing like the holidays"
that's the saying that will always haunt me...
As long as I can remember the holidays meant seeing family and friends you have failed to make time for throughout the year, bringing in the new year with family and close friends and the act of giving for so-called "the season" seems to just make everything better!!
What we don't see is when most families are coming together for Joy and Cheer, a time to celebrate the happiest Holiday with our loved ones, we tend to forget about the people that are battling the disease of addiction. We tend to take for granted the small things as we are so consumed with the materialist items on Santas list that we forget to keep our loved ones who struggle in mind.
Today 12/21/19 I had the unfortunate experience of being dealt the coldest news any winter has stormed informing me that someone very close to us has passed away.. My Uncle.. My mother's youngest brother of 3 siblings lost his final struggle with drug abuse.
The ones who had the absolute gift of being in the surrounding of the SOBER Bony would all the same thing., his energy was contagious his motivation was uplifting and inspiring. His jokes....well they definitely were one of a kind.. he would give the shirt off of his back for anyone in need and do whatever it would take to make sure someone had a place to stay or food to eat for the night when he was in the right frame of mind... What a lot of people Don't know is the struggle of depression and what it can do.
While the Holidays Come to an ending or a beginning depending on how you want to look at it, the holidays this year for my family will be 1 chair lighter, gifts will remain un-opened and the Joy of the holidays won't appear.
We are asking for any possible donations for Bony Rivera's Final Arrangements. At no time soon did my family see themselves planning something like this and unfortunately, as we have seen too many times recently another young life has been lost at the hands of drugs. This Is an Epidemic that needs a light shined in its direction in a huge way. However, for right now all that we are asking is for any donations for the final arrangements my family has to endure. No words can describe our gratitude and we want you all to know that any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
