Filosofia goes to Europe!

Alison Rosendo, better known as Filosofia Kbssa, is taking his skateboarding and film series "FILOSOFIA SKATE ROOTS" internationally.

After 20 years of skateboarding, finally the opportunity arose for him to go to new territories and get to know classic skate spots of our culture. Through his Project "Filosofia Skate Roots", documentations of the diverse skate scene in the Northeast of Brasil, Kbssa focuses on regional cultures and its customs. Always with his camera and skateboard in hand, Alison wanders through urban streets documenting everything that catches his attention. This exchange results in experiences that only real connections can offer. This is what makes his skate film series possible.

Now we want to take these experiences to Europe, specifically to Paris and Berlin. Two important capitals of its region, filled with modern and antique architecture, people of all corners of the world and a lot of history to learn and see. Skateboarding makes it possible to access these places and these experiences, like many have done before. Traditional and contemporary, an important exchange for anti colonialism.

The money raised in this fundraiser will make the next episode of FILOSOFIA SKATE ROOTS possible. We've had some incentives and sponsors from brands and institutions over the years, but always with very limited funding. We now turn to you all that support and believe in Alisons work.
