Filmmaker Fund: Tools needed! Laptop for editing!

My name is Hildevert Promesse Lafeuille, I am currently a sophomore at Dillard University and i’m pursuing my goal of becoming one of the greatest film director of our generation. My interest for film started blossoming during my sophomore year of high school. Ever since then, I’ve been using equipment that was available to me, that being my iPhone, my only primary camera. It wasn’t ‘til a half a year ago that I was able to buy an actual camera and improve the quality of my footage. Being a college student pursuing film during a pandemic is crucial, for I can’t invest into myself the way I want to, or could for that matter. For the past 4 years I’ve been using my phone as my editing source, but you can only do so much on a phone. I am serious about pursuing my goal as a film director and a laptop dedicated to editing my films would help me to pursue my dreams. What I would be able to do with a laptop for filming will not only benefit me, but my actors who work hard to showcase their talents as well.
