Bonjour à toi, humble voyageur...

Laissez-nous nous présenter: nous sommes deux réalisateurs, scénaristes et artistes multidisciplinaires qui se sont donné comme mission de déterrer le folklore et les événements marquants, mais oubliés, de l'histoire du Québec. Avec votre aide, nous souhaitons les montrer sous un nouveau jour et une avec approche digne de son potentiel.

MARTYR, notre premier long-métrage, est un hommage au jeu vidéo québécois KONA, mais c’est aussi la collision de deux mondes. Ce projet, c’est le film noir à la recherche de vérité moderne et la frustration de l’injustice qui rencontre le film psycho-horreur caché parmi les squelettes de l’histoire religieuse. Ce projet, c’est le déterrement des traditions passées face aux idéologies actuelles, le produit d’un acharnement sociétal sur un seul homme qui ne plie le genou devant rien ni personne. C’est l’aboutissement d’un vendetta, la mise à mort de la souffrance et la nomination d’un martyr parmi les parias.

MARTYR, c'est également la collaboration d'une multitudes de jeunes artistes prometteurs, mais surtout québécois. C'est la relève qui a pris le temps d'apprendre et d'écouter les conseils, mais qui demande maintenant ne serait-ce qu'une chance. La chance de pratiquer son art, la chance de le montrer au reste du monde et la chance d'être reconnu pour les efforts quotidiens et perpétuels qu'elle a fait jusqu'à aujourd'hui.

Pour tout ceux qui auront le cœur et la possibilité de donner, de la part de toute l'équipe, nous vous disons merci. Merci pour votre générosité, votre confiance et votre soutien. Sans vous, rien de tout cela ne serait possible. Merci, merci, merci.

Hello to you, humble traveler...

Allow us to introduce ourselves: we are two directors, screenwriters, and multidisciplinary artists who have made it our mission to unearth the folklore and significant yet forgotten events of Quebec’s history. With your help, we wish to present them in a new light and with an approach worthy of their potential.

MARTYR, our first feature film, is a tribute to the Quebecois video game KONA, but it is also the collision of two worlds. This project is the film noir in search of modern truth and the frustration of injustice meeting psycho-horror hidden among the skeletons of religious history. This project is the unearthing of past traditions in the face of current ideologies, the result of societal obsession with a single man who bends the knee to no one and nothing. It is the culmination of a vendetta, the sentencing of suffering, and the designation of a martyr among the outcasts.

MARTYR is also the collaboration of many promising young artists, especially Quebecois ones. It is the next generation that has taken the time to learn and listen to advice, but is now asking for nothing more than a chance. The chance to practice their art, the chance to show it to the world, and the chance to be recognized for the daily and ongoing efforts they have made up until today.
