Hello, we are freshmen at Chapman Dodge film school in the Production and Screen Acting majors. We are working on a film for our final first semester project in our intro to visual story telling class, and have decided that raising a small budget would help best make our slightly ambitious short film idea into a reality.
Our roughly five-minute aesthetic short film is an 80s slasher thriller with a twist. Here is more description;
Logline: A runaway couple’s first night of freedom turns deadly when their spiked drugs shatter their grip on reality, forcing them to fight off a slasher who’s chosen them as his next victims.
This budget will fund the following for this project.
- Booking a motel room given we receive permission to shoot there.
- Costumes (example: mask for our slasher, and 80s garb)
- Props/Make up (example: Halloween prop severed limbs, fake blood)
- Remaining funds will go into providing snacks and water for cast and crew on set.
