Filipino nurse in UK with Cancer

Hi everyone,
We are seeking your assistance to help a fellow Filipino nurse who is in dire need of help. Elsa Suing is a dear friend who was just diagnosed last August with an aggressive form of cancer an added serious condition to her already weak heart which prevented her from continuing on as a full time nurse. She hid this illness from us, her friends, as she refused to feel like she’s imposing on others.she is single and has no family with her here in UK Unfortunately, due to her illness, Elsa was unable to work. Between getting her chemotherapy done and making ends meet, she was unable to get on top of her expenses as she couldn’t work. Debts pile up and when we found about her condition, Elsa’s cancer has spread. Due to no income she had no basic necessities one of which is food. She was unable to get help from the social welfare as she was still technically ‘employed’ as a bank nurse. This has cause even more grief on her part as before her condition worsen to what it is now, she vowed to get better and be back at work. And because of this, she is ineligible for funding support.
Now she is in the last stage of her life and seeking any assistance you can give. She has decided to return to the Philippines and be with her family. Unfortunately her family just couldn’t cover her travel expenses to return. They are not financially able to do that.
As her friend, I’m humbly asking for your help that we can send off Elsa back to the Philippines by coming up with the money for her travel expenses and medication.
