Filing Provisional Patents on 40 Inventions

Donation protected
My name is Roger Faulkner and I am a lifelong inventor, chemical engineer, and a polymer scientist. I spent my entire career in laboratories developing ideas.

My last job was Vice President for Research and Development at Alevo in Concord, North Carolina. I made a deal with Alevo in which they obtained the patent rights to two of my inventions: the elpipe, and the ballistic breaker in return for $2m worth of startup stock in Alevo. That was very promising until Alevo went bankrupt which finally occurred in 2017 and the patents are now held by Innolith. A company based in Geneva, Switzerland. Innolith has no interest in pursuing the elpipe, or the ballistic breaker. I am trying to reach a licensing deal with them that would allow me to pursue these inventions. In the meantime, I am trying to pursue other inventions that I've made over the years that I consider very important.

One of my banes is that I'm only attracted to really big problems like: the water crisis on earth, making renewable energy practical, and completely getting away from oil as the basis for energy economy. All of these are things that I've thought about quite a lot and some of my really big inventions might be worth billions of dollars if they worked out. However, a big idea like that is very difficult to move forward and not likely to make a profit in my remaining lifetime. I'm setting up this GoFundMe to allow me to file patents on some of those ideas. It's not so much that I'm thinking about making money from these as it is that without patents being filed, big companies and large entities generally won't pursue an idea. There has to be something patentable before companies will pursue it. So, I'm creating patent positions that I might be able to license or sell for some very important ideas. Some of which, I will talk about on here, others of which I will only discuss after  filed those patents. The patent process is long and after the first year gets to be more and more expensive. I'm filing provisional patent applications and then I am publicly disclosing the ideas on the Internet. Since I have already filed a patent and it is now publicly disclosed, no one else will ever be able to patent it. I could probably profit more from any individual idea by keeping it confidential, but my real interest is in getting these ideas out into the world. I don't want to do that with no protection at all, so I'm trying to raise money for provisional patent applications, after which I will be seeking funding for the next step, which will be a PCT patent application. PCT applications will be used to prepare prototypes. If you are interested in learning more about the two patents that we have filed in the last month, visit link:
